Topped with strawberry, coconut & chia seeds
Bet you never thought weetabix cereal could be so delicious!
If you’re tired of the boring old weetabix just add a bit of jazz to it. You’ll be a amaze at how some fruits or some texture could change how you feel about it. And trust me this is coming from the girl who thought they literally tasted like cardboard lol.
God I just love a vibrant colour. Trust me the more creative you get with foods the higher your chances of getting your little ones to eat it. (Allegedly)
Ariel LOVES this stuff. she literally eats the weetabix on their on as a snack…. CRAZY I know.
Why is weetabix good for you, and why should I give it to my little one?
Well first it is very easy to prepare 😍
They are high in dietary fibre, extremely low in sugar while providing a lot of important vitamins, such as iron, B1, B2, B3 B9 etc.
They can be introduced from 6 months+
Weetabix is a nice base as well as oats to include those extra nutrients in the mornings. Add fruits for extra flavours and to change the taste to keep it exciting.
I love that this can be enjoyed both warm or cold, you can even enjoy it as a little lunch time snack.
Try adding weetabix to your yogurt
This is still good to have for breakfast or perfect to have as a lunch time snack especially on a warmer day.
Or simply have it the usual way weetabix porridge.
This is the best way to introduce them to your little ones minus the whole fruits, sometimes simple really is the best. When your ready to add fruits if you are not yet comfortable with fruits this size just smash them before adding them.
Ingredients: Mix weetabix with milk, milk substitute cold or warm or yogurt. (I personally think the best way to enjoy weetabix is with milk)
Add fruits for extra nutrients and flavour (optional)
