This delicious healthy toddler strawberry oatmeal breakfast smoothie is simple to make and great for kids. In fact I’m pretty certain you will also love it so you might want to double up on the recipe! It includes strawberries ofcourse, oats, banana, chia seeds and milk.

This is the perfect breakfast smoothie packed with a good mix of nutrients such as, antioxidants, fibre, potassium, protein and omega 3. It will not only keep your little ones full but will also give them that good energy boost.

Smoothies are perfect to make for breakfast, lunch or snack. It’s a good way to also include extra veggies in their diet, the quickest form of nutritious meal and they will absolutely love drinking it.

Toddler Strawberry Oatmeal Breakfast Smoothie

Equipment

  • Blender/ Smoothie maker

Ingredients
  

  • 5 Strawberries frozen
  • 1/2 Banana frozen
  • 1/4 cup Oats
  • 1/2 tsp Chia seeds
  • 1/4 tsp Vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp Honey/ maple syrup optional (honey should not be given to babies under 1 as it can lead to infant botulism)
  • 1 cup full fat milk

Instructions
 

  • Put all ingredients in blender/smoothie maker
  • Blend on high speed until smooth
  • pour in favourite smoothie cup
